Considered extreme sports, climbing and mountaineering can be practiced safely on classic climbing routes with varying degrees of difficulty.
The most famous routes in the Zărnești precipices are: “Marilena” and “Gemenii” with difficulty level 4B, and “Marinelor”, “Guriță” and “Fisurile de Aur” with grade 5A.

Diana's spectacular Towers offer two routes: Grade 4A "Traseul Frontal" and 5B difficulty "Floare de Colț". On the wall of Ciorânga Mare you can practice mountaineering on the route "Lespezile Lirei", grade 5B and "Muchia Bondarului" grade 4B.
